This tutorial was quite specific on every point. Using the same color combinations, my first attempt was perfect. I did have a slight challenge with one of the spirals not staying joined near the end. I just think the clay had a chance to cool slightly as my tile was cold to the touch. My friend did not have that problem though. I did feel that more clay was used in the skinner blend than was needed. I made four spirals of different sizes and had a large skinner blend left.  read more »
