I have been 'messing' around with clay for a few weeks and have come up with some pretty dodgy little critters made mainly from squishing balls of clay together.

I did this step by step and did learn some easier ways to do things on the way. I didn't know how to make an armature and that you can bake in stages.

Although my dragon looks considerably different, I can't believe I actually sculpted him! I was concerned that as a beginner it would be too hard but it wasn't! I got there in the end and he looks excellent!

Sometimes I wished there would have been more photos of how to get the piece to the shape or of the shape complete before being attached rather than just seeing it on the dragon already. I was still able to muddle though and someone with more experience would probably have no trouble like I did as a beginner.

I think everyone should give this tutorial a go... there will be many more dragons (even out of the egg) in my future!
