I just started working with polymer clay and this was the first project that I tried. I was delighted with the results. I made sheets then ran them though the pasta machine on 1 again to make them a more solid sheet. I then made various size disc beads that I then sanded and varnished. I found that a buffing disc on my dremel worked great for rounding over the edges. The discs were worked into a chain necklace and earrings for a birthday present. I received several requests for more! I also took the left overs from the sheets that I made and rand them through the pasta machine again. They made a really neat blurred pattern that are just as unique as the original canes.
