I love this technique! The tutorial is very clear and easy to follow.

The only problem I've had is that the two pendants I've made so far both cracked whilst baking. I've prepared smaller versions to make matching earrings and they seem to be okay.

I will be trying it again - I don't think my oven is too hot, in fact if anything it's set slightly cooler than recommended for the clay, so I'm going to try letting the pendant rest for a few hours before baking it next time as I suspect all the twisting, turning and shaping left it "under stress" and it maybe stretched whilst baking.

If the author has any suggestions as to how to avoid this cracking I'd be very grateful! Meanwhile, thank you very much for a wonderful free tutorial.
