This is the best tiger cane tutorial I have found! I've searched Google forever and trust me, this is the one!
The colors are pretty accurate and the finished cane looks very nice. I tweaked the orange/gold color a bit, but that was just my personal preference. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I made a small practice cane first (good thing I did, because it didn't come out quite right; my mistake, not the tutorial).
My second try came out much better. If you're new to clay like I am, it may take some practice to get the cane to look like the author's, but it will get there. It looks very cool when finished! I liked it so much I couldn't bring myself to put the scraps in my scrap pile! :-)
This was just what I was looking for!!
