There are many tutorials out there to make stars. With this tutorial you can make any star or really any shape at all with what I refer to as “subtraction” caning – you cut away clay from a solid plug to create the image in the cane. It’s a very easy cane and the techniques you use can also be used to layer patterned plugs into other canes as well. Also – though I explain using a 2” base, you can literally make your cane any size. The tutorial is 3 pages and has 8 steps with several sub-steps and 18 color photos. Have fun!!
