This tutorial gives detailed instructions on how to make a complex Santa cane. The cane is large and the techniques involved mean that you should have intermediate to advanced skills in cane making and large cane reduction. The steps involved are basic, so if you're a quick study it might be a pleasant challenge. I have included a pattern to guide you to making your Santa as accurate as the one I have pictured. The tutorial is broken down into 15 basic steps (making eyes, making nose, etc), but there are lots of sub-steps in each basic step. The whole process is illustrated with 30 photos.
