Description:

In the autumn of 2009 FIMO was hard to get because they changed the name and package of FIMO clay. That made me think about how I could still make large beads with less clay. What can I put inside my bead that can be baked, even take away after baking, how strong is a hollow bead? Can I put something in my beads as a surprise? And yes... I tried the wax-method but that didn't work out with me. A lot of brainteasing days later I figured out 2 ways to do it; published it in the Netherlands in December 2009 and now ready to publish it here. In this tutorial you learn 2 ways to make hollow beads and show you 2 designs. One with flower canes and one with silver-gray stripes you can make with a ripple blade. The blue hollow bead with holes and the cheese joke with the mouse inside are made with the other technique. I'll show you all step by step. As a bonus I also teach you how to make the lava spacer beads. So actually 5 tutorials in 1. Have a lot of fun!
