This tutorial focuses on some of the tips and tricks for creating a sheet of clay using the Mica Shift technique. Close-ups of blade angles and techniques for reducing blade drag are included, as well as ways to smooth the sheet once the shaving is finished.

THIS IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. Clay blades are sharp and should not be handled by children. Children can do certain stages of working the mica shift techniques but should NOT be handling the blade and doing the shaving.
